Getting Started

How Do I Start?

First, please schedule a Discovery Call whenever you get a chance so we can talk about your specific situation.

If we decide to move ahead, we will book a Discovery Meet (for Best Members) to ensure we are well-matched to work together. We would skip this step if you’d like to be a Good Member.

Finally, you will register for Level 1 Calmness. That’s where the real fun begins!

What Are The Levels?

Levels – The levels are your courses. You’ll begin your journey with Level 1- Calmness. There are 15 levels.

How Long Is The Program?

Each level is four weeks.

It will take 18 months to 2 years to complete all levels, depending on whether you take small breaks between them.

There will be eight weeks off annually to refuel (dates TBD). The program will be paused during those holiday breaks.

Do I Need To Enrol In All The Levels?

No. Often, most will only need to finish the first six levels to meet their goals.

Working dogs (therapy and service) are strongly urged to complete all fifteen levels to complete the program.

Over the last 15+ years, Carina has helped me with so many different training challenges. Taking classes with her is such a delight – I have so much fun learning that things that were once challenges just become opportunities to have more fun!  Carina’s keen eye and ability to dissect behaviour issues have helped me be a better dog parent.  One of the most valuable things I’ve learned from her is that dog training is not “one size, fits all”.Thank you!Mary Young
