Liability Waiver, Service Contract, and Cancellation Policy for the Smart Dog Society

1) Liability Waiver:

Imagine Dog Training will endeavour to create as safe an environment as possible for your dog's training and will offer only sound, secure, and responsible training and training instructions. However, to the extent that Imagine Dog Training is insured for any unintentional or negligent errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions, Imagine Dog Training will be responsible for any such acts or omissions, but only to the extent of such insurance. By checking the box, you signify that you have been notified of this by Imagine Dog Training and understand the inherent risks of owning a dog, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to yourself or others. Consequently, you are and will remain responsible for the actions of your dog at all times. You hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Imagine Dog Training of any claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by your dog. You understand that the recommendation of any other product or service does not guarantee you satisfaction with that product or service.  

2) Payment and Cancellation Policy: 

Payment for the Smart Dog Society Program will be a subscription of 6 monthly installments that will entitle you to access for 6 months from the date of the payment of the first installment. 

In order to have continued access to the materials in the Smart Dog Society Program beyond the 6 months, you will need to maintain a discounted subscription that will grant you access for as long as your subscription is active. Imagine Dog Training requires three days' notice to be eligible for a refund. No refunds, no exceptions within three days of the program commencement.

Imagine Dog Training may reschedule Office Hours due to personal reasons.

The Smart Dog Society program will be paused during the months of December and July as will the subscription payment. Payment will be made through Stripe credit card subscription.

3) Service Contract:

Agreeing to the payment signifies that you have committed to the entire length of the training program time as stated in the description of services. Further, you know that you are responsible for the cost in full regardless of whether you complete the training program.  You also signify that you understand that you need to maintain your subscription to have continued access to all Products, Modules and Lessons in the Smart Dog Society Program, and you understand that the content and syllabus of products, modules and lessons may change upon the discretion of Imagine Dog Training. You also acknowledge that you understand that the Smart Dog Society program will be paused during the months of December 2022 and July 2023 as will the subscription payment. You understand that you need to maintain your subscription to have access to all Products, Modules and Lessons. 

OWNERSHIP OF WORK:

• For the purposes of this section, “Intellectual Property Rights” means all intellectual property rights however arising and in whatever media, including patents, copyrights, design rights, trademarks, trade names, service marks, database rights, domain names and any application for the protection or registration of any of the foregoing rights, and any other intellectual property rights, and all renewals and extensions thereof.
• Imagine Dog training maintains exclusive ownership rights over Intellectual Property Rights such as all products created, written, composed, made, produced, performed or designed by Imagine Dog Training.
• The client will not disclose Intellectual Property to third parties unless with expressed permission from Imagine Dog Training. 
• The rights and obligations under this Section shall continue in full force and effect after the termination of this Contract in respect of Material made during the term of this Contract and shall be binding.

VETERINARIAN VISIT:

Before designing a training plan, it’s important to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian to rule out any possible medical components of your dog’s behaviour. 

With some behaviours, there may be medications that could reduce risk in the short term and/or speed his responsiveness to behaviour modification protocols. Some dogs have benefited from medication as a complement to behaviour modification. 

Keep in mind that Imagine Dog Training's area of expertise is behaviour. We are not veterinarians and can’t make medical recommendations. We suggest you contact your veterinarian about your concerns. 

Plan to make an appointment with your veterinarian prior to beginning of the program to discuss our concerns.
